While installing MT6572 universal firmware can be beneficial, there are some risks and precautions to consider:

Completely power off your MT6572 device. Remove the battery for 5 seconds if it is removable, then put it back in. Have you flashed the same MT6572 ROM on

Enter recovery mode and perform a "Wipe Data/Factory Reset".
